The test and therapy point for the Magnesium metabolism is directly at or rather in the navel, on the right-hand side. It is tested for pain or numbness by putting a finger into the patient’s navel and then pulling it to the right, pinching it slightly.
Magnesium is very important for the nerve and muscle cells, it improves the strength of the heart muscle and acts preventatively against thromboses. This tissue salt also acts against jaundice and other diseases of the liver and gallbladder as well as headaches connected to this. Since the function of the liver and gallbladder peaks at night, it is recommended that water prepared with precious stones (prepared during the day) is taken prior to going to bed to act against night headaches or other cramps which may occur.
If there is a Magnesium deficiency, gastrointestinal illnesses may occur, particularly if low quantities of Protein containing food are consumed; renal diseases may also occur.
Magnesium is closely related to the Iron, Potassium and Phosphorus metabolism. The mis-utilisation of Magnesium often also means insufficient Potassium and Calcium.
Magnesium is sufficiently found in fish, green vegetables, pulses, cocoa, potatoes, nuts, soya beans and whole grain products and sea salt — so that if the point is conspicuous, it is just a question of utilisation.
Following stones are optimally suited to stimulate:
- Chakra Charoite, Chlorite, Howlite, Jade, Moonstone and Serpentine
- Chakra Garnet, Lapislazuli and Spinel
- Chakra Amazonite
- Chakra Calcite, Chalcedony, Dolomite, Heliotrope, Magnesite, Rhodochrosite, Rosequartz, Sard and all Tourmalines
- Chakra Peridot or Olivine

Fire Opal and Snowflake Obsidian
Since Fire Opal and Snowflake Obsidian contain Manganese, a small round stone can be placed in the navel for the simultaneous building-up of the two points.
