Fidgety Philip and little dreamer: treatment of ADHS with the BICOM

Jessica Rüther, Naturopath, Kempen-Tönigsberg, Germany
Dear colleagues,
I am delighted to be able to speak to you on the occasion of the 47th International Congress 2007 in Fulda about some of the experiences I have taken from my practice. My paper deals with the manifestation of ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder) with and without hyperactivity.
Disturbed or normal? In need of therapy or just going through a difficult phase? Ill or just spirited? Thousands of parents of nervous, unfocused and fidgety children are asking these very questions.
People are quick to assume or diagnose Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (AD(H)D for short). The children suffer from a lack of self-control and are unable to properly control their impulses. There are a whole range of symptoms associated with AD(H)D: excessive restlessness, learning difficulties, problems with concentration, lack of coordination, low self-esteem, a tendency to get frustrated and aggressive behaviour. AD(H)D children can ...

Treatment of post-traumatic pain and vertebral pain syndromes without side effects

Dr. med. Willmar Schwarze, Wurzen
The annual BICOM congresses are an exciting highlight in the continuing professional development of BICOM users.
Having attended these events with growing interest since 2000, it is a particular honour to be given the opportunity to present my own experience here today.

1.1. Significance of diagnosis and treatment of painful disorders as part of basic medical care
Pain which is experienced as a sign of possible pathological changes in the body is one of the most common reasons for consulting a doctor or naturopath.

1.2. Brief consideration of the pathophysiology of pain
Pain is not a state but a negative experience for the individual concerned. Nociceptors, specialised nerve sensors in the peripheral nervous system, record signals that various thresholds are being exceeded and convert this information into impulses capable of being transmitted from nerve pathways towards the centre (bone marrow and brain).
These impulses ar...

The significance of the acid-base balance in BICOM practice

Harald Sievert, Naturopath, Hanover
Dear colleagues,
As BICOM therapists we deal with concepts which consider the patient as a whole, for the disease itself affects all his responsive, regulatory and compensatory mechanisms, and this is the basis of our approach.
After making a comprehensive diagnosis, our job consists of performing therapy which observes the holistic aspect in order to eliminate the disease’s “breeding ground” and, as far as possible, bring about a distinct improvement in the patient’s condition.
One “breeding ground” on which disease thrives is a permanent disturbance of the acid-base balance.
Treating this disturbance will help our patients regain their initial stable energetic state and a pleasant quality of life.
The key to this lies in the many different possibilities offered by BICOM resonance therapy, whether on its own or combined with classic naturopathic therapies.

It is common medical knowled...

Losing weight with Bicom: simple treatment using the body’s acupuncture points

Dr. med. Barbara Irmler, general practitioner, Munich, Germany
A few years ago, Mrs. Brügemann developed a treatment concept for overweight patients. Bioresonance therapy on the ear acupuncture points gives them invaluable support when attempting to lose weight. The theoretical principles and treatment stages are described clearly with a dose of humour in the Regumed text, “Lose weight – but how?”
Treatment lasts approximately 20 minutes. The acupuncture point applicator is placed on the ear acupuncture points and the respective programs are selected. If the therapist has several patients taking part in the weight loss program, then he/she must calculate the overall time required to carry out this session.
The ear is what is known as a microsystem, i.e. all parts of the body are represented here in reduced format, just as on a map. These reflex zones can be used for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes. Body acupuncture is carried out using meridian systems, which refer to the organs as...

Having the courage to treat advanced stages of cancer using the Bicom

Dr. Sinan Akkurt, doctor, Izmir, Turkey
Dear colleagues,
Dear friends of bioresonance therapy,
I first started using bioresonance therapy 4 years ago. I became curious after speaking to a medical sales representative who was a chain smoker and had given up smoking through bioresonance. At the time I saw use of the BICOM® as being restricted to this type of treatment and also didn’t have the time to learn more about other indication areas.
I bought a device with a colleague and, in addition to our work as doctors in the public health sector, we were also looking to work part-time in our general practice and use bioresonance as a smoking cessation treatment. But after a while we decided out of curiosity to attend further training courses offered by company representatives in Turkey. It soon became clear to us that this didn’t just stop at smoking cessation. We decided to venture into treating allergies. This was followed by the huge range of rheumatic diseases and plenty of successfu...

Epilepsy in childhood

Dr. Sinon Akkurt, lzmir, Turkey

Dear colleagues,
Dear bioresonance friends,
My BICOM® bioresonance adventure which started about 5 years ago is very interesting and continues to surprise me every day. Within this period a smoking representative told me how he had stopped smoking with the help of BICOM® bioresonance. Beginning with the smoking treatment, I eventually started applying the treatment in many different diseases. I have experienced countless times that the BICOM® bioresonance method knows no bounds in medicine and can be used in all areas for all kinds of diseases, with mind at peace. Now, when a patient comes for any disease, I can easily accept him, because I am sure that I can help him with BICOM® bioresonance
In lzmir, in the west of Turkey, I have  my own clinic. Before I was working both in governmental institutions and in my private clinic, but now, with the BICOM®, I have been working in my private clinic for 2 years. My working field is often the chronic disea...

Infants and children: First confrontation with the chemical hammer

Dr. med. M.Sc. Petra Maack-Wantzen, lngelheim, Germany
Bleeding tendency_p.[2ph'ylaxis with Konakion®
"We were looking forward to the baby so much and now ..."
More and more often we see new parents complaining about problems with their baby soon after birth. Loud wailing from late afternoon until the early hours, thick cradle cap on their heads plus skin rashes which many paediatricians put down to new-born acne which they'll grow out of. Flatulence and stomach cramps dismissed as 3-month colic, with parents told to just get on with it ...
But my experience of daily practice would suggest that the factors involved here are quite different.
Many of these young ones react to the synthetic Vitamin K, Konakion®, which is given in Germany as prophylaxis against blood clotting disorders and is administered during post-natal checks immediately after birth, after one week and then again after
4-6 weeks.
Forms of therapy such as homoeopathy, acupuncture and bioresonance too are based on...

Treating at-risk pregnancies using the Bicom

Dr. Esra Kirsever, Gynaecologist and Obstetrician, Istanbul, Turkey

Twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome Overview
Most pregnancies result in one baby. In about one in 80 pregnancies, twins are conceived. This can occur in one of two ways:
The more common way (which accounts for two-thirds of cases) is for the two different sperm to fertilize two different eggs, resulting in what is called a dizygotic (DZ) twin gestation.

These twins are often called fraternal twins. In this type of twinning each twin has its own sac of amniotic fluid and its own placenta (afterbirth). Dizygotic twins have two sets of membranes surrounding their amniotic fluid sacs (one inner amnion layer and one outer chorion layer), and therefore they are known as diamniotic, dichorionic.
These twins are often referred to as identical twins since they have the same genetic material. Approximately one-third of MZ twins look just like fraternal twins on prenatal ultrasound since there are two separate amniotic sacs and ...
